Persia - A

Persia-Software is the tool for automation system. It enables users to utilize the performance capability of automation systems easily and conveniently. Persia-A has user-friendly functions for all phases of automation projects:

• Graphical process visualization

• Configuration and parameterization of hardware definition and communications

• Full redundant capabilities

• Programming  

• Advance alarm/event management documents, archiving 

• secure access policies

• Controller programming, employing international standard IEC 61131-3 languages.

 

Persia-A is available as a software package for PC and controller installation. It contains five main parts:

• Engineering Workstation (EWS): Unit for setting and assigning of system database and system configuration

• Operating Workstation (OWS): Interface for process visualization, command initiation, alarm and event display, real time trending of points and reporting.

• Data Acquisition Server (DAS): Unit for data sampling, processing, grouping and preparing suitable data for workstations to display.

• Local Controller Unit (LCU): For sampling and gathering analog/digital data, performing control routines and loop which are programmed, employing standard IEC 61131-3 language.

• Historical Server (HIS): Unit for sampling real time data and archiving them from SQL da-
tabase, so that they can be re-loaded. Historical application such as reporting, trending and analysis can be done later. 

 

VME Bus SYSTEM

VME Bus components and systems, such as process control systems and machine control, are proving their worth in automation technology. Further applications include monitoring and medical technology, telecommunications etc., often under extreme climatic and mechanical conditions. 

• The VME Bus is not tied to one particular manufacture. It is based on an international open standard supported, globally, by several hundred companies. In practice, this choice means the user can determine the best price/performance ratio and select from a breadth of second-sourcing.

• VME Bus systems are not bound to a particular processor chip. As the VME Bus has been defined as a 32-bit Bus, the user can select, for instance for CISC CPUs, from the Motorola 68XXX family or Intel processors. Power PC and SPARC dominate RISC-based systems.

• The VME Bus has a range of technical characteristics, which PC-based systems cannot compete with: Multiprocessor systems enable an infinite increase in processor performance. Real-time capability is a matter of course in most applications. World-wide, more than 400 manufacturers with a product range of over one thousand boards, offer the user a wide spectrum of standard modules, along with a guarantee for the security of investment. It is often not necessary to develop one’s own product, VME Bus systems, can yield a decrease in product development time (Time-to Market) accompanied with a minimum of risk. The continual global increase in turnover is further proof of the future of the VME Bus. What PCs and workstation meant for the office is what the VME Bus means for the production plant.  In other words, the absolute standard “sine qua non”.

 

Programming Language

Our programming language tool is a complete industrial software package consisting of soft logic programming tools, a runtime execution engine. It is based on the only internationally recognized industrial standard for industrial automation control languages, the IEC 61131-3 and fully support all five of the PLC languages: Sequential Function Chart (SFC), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Ladder Diagram (LD), Structured Text (ST), and Instruction List (IL). Also supporting functions and function blocks written in C and/or IEC61131-3 languages is an evidence of extreme power and flexibility of this tool. With this tool any industrial computer with OS9, NT, Linux or CE transforms to very powerful controller for DCS, PLC or RTU applications.

Range of applications can be form simple machine control to complex processes to high speed, high performance and high reliability tasks. This program can be used in Gas Turbo compressor, Hydro Power Plant control system or in very simple Pump Station. It is the reliable choice for mission critical applications. Also it fits easily to RTU’s for pipeline systems and can compose and send messages from distant locations.
