KTC Factory
The factory of Kerman Tablo Corp. with an area
of 16000 square meters located in the historic all city
of Kerman in the south-east of Iran. The factory has
a staff of 250 people including 30% experts and 70%
technicians in its two main divisions of Electronics
and Panel manufacturing.
The factory, equipped with modern CNC metal work
machinery, continuous electrostatic powder paint
system, and high voltage laboratory test equipment,
is capable of manufacturing a wide range of
different types of panels and switchgears in
accordance with IEC standards. Many of these
products have type test certificate from accredited
international laboratories. The annual production
capacity of the factory is over 5000 cubicles in one
shift work day.
Main products:
• Low voltage panels in fixed and withdraw able
types with nominal current up to 8000A, short
circuit current capacity 80kA and degree of
protection up to IP54;
• MCC panels in fixed and withdraw able models with
nominal current of up to 6000A, short circuit
current capacity up to 50kA, and degree of
protection up to IP42;
• MV switchgears in fixed and withdraw able models
up to 36KV with short circuit capacity of 40kA and
degree of protection up to IP42;
• Control panels;
• Remote control unit panels (RTU);
• Automatic voltage regulator panels (AVR) and
• Protection panels.
Departments:
1. Supporting Department.
This department consists of the administrative,
financial, logistic, human resource, and purchase
sections.
2. Sales and marketing Department.
This department is responsible for sales and
marketing of the factory products.
3. R&D Department.
This department with highly trained and experienced
staff is responsible for development of new products
according to market researches and customer
requirements. It is also responsible for obtaining
type test certificates for the developed products
from accredited international test laboratories.
4. Design and Engineering Department.
The department with its highly trained and competent
staff and advanced Engineering software is
responsible for electrical design of the MV, LV and
control panels in accordance with the client’s
requirements and relevant standards. The Engineering
Dept also prepares the required documentation for
manufacturing, testing, quality controlling, and
also documentation for clients.
5. Planning Department.
This department is responsible for planning
different stages of the orders or contracts
including engineering, manufacturing, packaging and
delivery.
6. Metal Work and Mechanical Assembly Department.
Based on the mechanical parts and structures
designed, by the Engineering Department, a software
together with the required information deliver to the Metal Work Workshop. In this workshop, the
parts are punched, bent and pressed, welded, surface
treated and painted. The parts are then assembled in
three assembly lines for MV, MCC, and control panels
accordingly.
7. Electrical Assembly Department.
In this department the electrical parts and busbars
are assembled into cubicles, wired and cabled in
three assembly lines accordingly.
8. Quality Control Department.
Quality Control, as an independent department, with
competent staff who has the required authority, is
responsible for the inspection of raw material, in
process and final product. The data obtained during
inspection activities are analyzed and used as one
of the inputs for Continuous improvement of product
specifications.
9. Test Section
The Test Section, which has high voltage test
equipment and instruments, is responsible to perform
routine tests and some items of type tests in
accordance with relevant IEC standards. The test
laboratory is equipped with power frequency test
equipment up to 85 kA, AC and impulse test equipment
up to 175 kV, DC.
10. Packaging and Warehouse Department.
This department is responsible for storage and
protection of raw material and control of the
inventory. The products are packaged in accordance
with the standard instructions or customer
requirements, prior to delivery.
11. Quality Assurance Department.
This department, with its experienced staff who has
the required authority, is responsible for the
design, implementation, maintaining and improvement
of the Quality Management System based on ISO 9000
standards. This department is also responsible for
managing productivity and continuous improvement.
12. Training Department.
Training is an indispensable part of any advanced
organization. The Training Department is responsible
for planning and effective execution of training.
