KTC’s Power Division combines a rich heritage and extensive experience in engineering and manufacturing with the relentless desire for perfection. It is ranked among the top five MV and LV switchgear manufacturers in Iran, and is certainly one of the most experienced and capable companies in this field. Since day one, we have had a tight focus on engineering in order to produce the absolutely best quality possible, and that effort is well reflected in our track record. To our credit, we have accomplished some of the most prestigious installations in oil, gas, petrochemical, power plants, power substations, water as well as other major industries.
Our goal has always been to offer every client the maximum levels of safety, quality and reliability attainable. We accommodate every order with highly personalized solutions to ensure fulfillment of specific installation requirements down to the smallest detail and in full compliance with national and international standards. Our engineering head office in Tehran and our factory in Kerman are staffed with some of the most talented engineers, and they are equipped with the latest CAD/CAM facilities, enabling us to plan for the most efficient production methodology from the design all the way to the commissioning stage.
In manufacturing, we take full advantage of the latest CNC machinery, electrostatic painting facilities and the best brands of electrical components available on the international market. Step-by-step quality control follows an exact procedure to check every stage of production and assembly for quality and dimensional accuracy. In the final stages of production, our testing department meticulously carries out a list of specific standard tests as well as optional tests on each panel.
The factory’s Testing Department works in with our R&D Department to achieve an objective of fundamental importance: To test every minute detail to the very limits and to continuously strive to find any opportunity for improvements - even of the smallest detail. In addition to MV/LV panel engineering and manufacturing, today KTC’s Power Division handles the engineering and procurement (EP) part in other fields of power industry such as protection systems, AC/DC and emergency supply systems, power transformers, earthing and lightning protection systems, lighting equipment, explosion proof equipment, cables and accessories and various other related items, to support KTC’s EPC projects.
